Is there any reason not to empty the available cash back each month into a statement credit each month?

They never let me redeem for current statement (balance due) only for next so You"ll have to do a month in advance but I personally would let it accumulate and just use for one statement.

Seeing as I'm a BEGINNER and no one on the other threads are answering in detail, can someone pls walk me through the process of buying and cashing out one vanilla and/or vanilla visa gift cards? Money orders? Or cash advance? Which is safer? How much would each place charge? Etc, etc. an answer would be greatly appreciated..... Thank you in advance

As someone who was recently a beginner, I'd tell you that you will find that people are more likely to help someone who read through the applicable threads/wikis. Many here are against spoon feeding.

To start, I would suggest reading these wikis, and bonus points for reading through the threads:

You can also find lots of information by searching. Once you have specific questions, people are usually happy to answer.

I've read both of those wikis. I've also read basically all of those threads. I'm really just looking for a quick guide to flipping a one vanilla. Is it better with MO or with CA. I'm not SUCH a noob to the game, but to this one I am....

You can't CA a OV. AFAIK the only ways to flip them are: 1) Load onto BB at WM, 2) Purchase MOs (will cost a fee), or 3) Spend them, which probably defeats the purpose.

You're welcome. No. The card ppl use for CA is MVD, works a little differently.

I made a payment to my Amex online this morning (as well as via BB yesterday so they recieved it today).
When I go onto the website it shows I have an available credit of $9,000. It also shows that my current outstanding balance is almost my entire CL.

Could I go shopping and spend 5k today or should I wait for the payments to "finish posting" and show my current outstanding balance to be low?
