Lets get it clear,
Every bill has a 30 day cycle, lets say from Feb 9 to Mar 9, all the charges made in that 30 day will be on one bill, so your bill closes on Mar the 9th and then you have about 3 weeks until your due date,
So you would pay off most of your bill beginning of Mar(ie Mar 5) so when the bill closes on the 9th your left with little charges on your account which you have time to pay off untill your due date.
Ok perfect exactly what I was trying to understand.

If they make you prove income they ask for tax returns. I (along with many others) got away with bank statements.

Don't know where to post it... haven't found a dedicated MVD thread.

Around how long does it take for the permanent cards to come in the mail? Also, I registered my cards online, but it didn't say anything about sending me a permanent one. Is that normal?

Thanks...
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

I've never had Zales, but why wouldn't it?

Anyone extending credit should do a credit check (pull).

They had an offer taking 15% off the cost of a ring, which was a good savings on the price.

Then apply for some cc's on that day. Turn it into an opportunity for an app-o-ramma.

How do i go about getting a credit card with a cosigner?
Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience

Based on my understanding your better off going with a student card or being put on as an authorized user if you can be and applying for something like the Freedom after a few months.

I have seen mentioned that you should always keep your first cc, as otherwise it will fall off your cr. Does this mean you should keep using it too?

Put $1 on it every couple months just so that the bank keeps it active
Always use an Amex, you'll thank me one day.

If i am working towards a spend to get bonus points, does the money i spend get me points as well? For example if i got the ink plus to get 50k UR after $5k spend, once i spend the $5k,  will i have a total balance of 55k UR or just 50k?
Moreover, if i did the entire 5k spend at an office supply store, would i have a balance of 75k? (5*5k + 50k)
