Hyatt Regency or Westin Grand?

Can anyone who's stayed at either or both share their opinion?

TIA

P.S. Why are car rentals so expensive??!
Just spent five nights in the westin grand got upgraded to the one bedroom king corner suite with a separate living room and a balcony.... With an amazing view on the 29th floor. It was a great experience. Hotel is a bit dated but it was still really nice!

I see availability in premium economy or business for CX but they don't show first at all what does that mean?
Do they show f as business and j as premium economy?

Is the room that is booked using two nights certificate from the Fairmont credit card large enough to fit two adults and two toddlers?

In most circumstances it doesn't make sense.
Are you travelling with kids?
It's a good 2hr drive, and there are some nice hotels in Whistler.
Why not take along food?

Whistler village and inn seems to be available but a rip off.

Maybe look to stay in Pemberton or Squamish. Will make the drive much more reasonable. I imagine you'll also have traffic those days so it'll be a real pain to drive all the way back to Vancouver

Is 1 full day in Vancouver enough time to go to the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge, take the gondola car up Grouse Mountain, and a bike ride around Stanley Park?
