The implication then is that with the gift cards it just moves spending from the future to now, but in the end you spend the same amount over say the next 4 months, but with VR and BB you can spend an extra $20,000 over the next 4 months and it will only cost you $158. That gives you a value of 0.79 cents per point (less than 1 cent each), which is the best rate for any points (most are valued at 1.2-2.0 cents each). Add in using these to reach bonus thresholds otherwise unreachable (multiple cards with 10K in 4 months etc), yearly thresholds for bonus points and you have an excellent loophole.

CVS on christopher st, 6th ave, w3 and bleeker do not carry them.

Was just at Walgreen on j and 13 they had 1 vr went to pay the cashier said cash only and she showed me the computer screen that said it.

Walgreens used to be YMMV depending on cashier. As of a few weeks ago they're dead in the water completely, blocked at the POS level.

I've been stalking Queens locations. Many have the VR cards by the truckload, but they only allow up to $100 via cc and you have to have a NEW YORK driver's ID. My TN ID - though it will get me on a domestic flight - isn't accepted since they couldn't scan it.

People don't share this information. Everyone who has found a CVS that does this has put in significant leg work.

They exist and must be found the good old fashioned way.

CVS on Nostrand and Parkside doesn't have any MVD's or VR's. Also has a sign that says cash or debit only....

Thanks, but no need to post bklyn locations that do not have them. The assumption is that no place in bklyn does. If your lucky enough to find in bklyn and you actually post here, your a better man than I.

I've checked CVS on Fulton and Nassau as well as a few in the village and found nothing in any of those, although I haven't checked in over a month...

I was just at the CVS on Fluton yesterday and they did not have any.
