2 location with same issue, one after buying one, one after buying 3. (each on a sep trans)

any idea why?

ink said nothing on their part.

when you do several on same transaction you lose the rebate. dont you?

Might be MasterCard, back in the OD days, they would occasionally block and the cashier would have to call MC for a referral.

Just FYI: I've been to 5 or so CVS's in North Jersey and none are stocking VR even though they did a couple of weeks ago. Even then, almost all of them had signs up that they would only allow $1k in spending on GC per day.

Anybody know if this is a new policy or just random?

I was at a CVS out on Long Island though that did have them. I think I bought 8 or so at the time.

Many CVS's have the 1K policy. Sometimes the cashier lets you do more, other times you just gotta hit the morning and then afternoon shift or just come back tomorrow.

+1 I think i mentioned in another thread, but I had a CVS where they let me spend 1k a day every day for like a week straight I had the same cashier do it for me every time and she never said boo.
