Since Vanilla Reloads are no longer able to be purchased with a CC at CVS or any other location, this thread is for historical purposes only.

If I would write where VR is available, by tomorrow it will never be available again. So instead, we will nominate this thread as the place where everyone can complain that there's no VR, and everyone will be happy.

And it was good.


Regarding OneVanilla (OV) and other Vanilla branded GCs:

1. These are not Vanilla Reloads. You are in the wrong thread to learn about them.

2. As long as you are here, they no longer work at WM to load to BB at the cashier or ATM, nor will they work there for MOs. Your best bets are to use Evolve (there is a thread for that), Amazon Payments (there is a thread for that, too), or use them for regular spending in stores or online. At some grocery stores customer service desks, you can use OV to buy a MO.

oh thanks i thought i read something a few weeks ago about $1000 gc in a office depot is it a thing of the past or i read wrong?

Was today in 2 CVS in Bklyn, one didn't allow CC, and the other one I had some luck (took the last 2 on the shelf- I still need 4)...

Yes but it doesn't mean you have to pay.  search sd grocery/drug store forums.  I am not going to spoon feed.

Not IME. I figure with the amount of Jewish people passing by there a couple times a day, that it will take an extreme amount of luck to find some there.

finding it much easier to get VR at cvs in manhattan, most stores either keep them by the register or have 1k limit per customer

I went to a CVS in PA yesterday and had luck with VR. I went to the same CVS and the cashier told me I cant load with CC only cash. Should I try Pharmacy checkout?
