Was a great game I'm shocked that Sharks won it.
+1
Pens could have easily won Game 4. The one goal passed (through 4 people) was preventable. It sent them into overtime and then they lost.

Always love when people get the "Gordie Howe Hat trick".
A goal, an assist and a fight.

Definitely a one in a kind player.

I find it funny that:

"The namesake of the achievement, Gordie Howe, achieved a Gordie Howe hat trick only twice in his NHL career:"

Talk about a shock. I guess you can't give it to a 21 year old.  >:(

He continues to be the poster boy for the NHL, even with all the garbage he does on the ice.

Who is going to take Nash????
Unless Montreal does something stupid like the Gomez trade, I can't see any team trading for Nash.

I think Nash is a bit underrated.
Mind you, not underrated for his present contract, but the general sentiment makes it sound like he's worthless. I think if you swallow $1.8m from his contract he becomes pretty attractive and very tradable at $6m AAV. Also, the Rangers can trade Nash for lower quality assets like picks or prospects to teams that want to get better quickly and don't mind his cap hit for 2 more years.

I think Anaheim can do well with Nash and also has the cap space, maybe swap Rackell (unsigned RFA) for Nash straight up.
He wouldn't have to be the best player on the team (ala Kessel in TOR vs PIT), and he is very good in all 3 zones.
Last year he was not good but he had a terrific year before that and was good in the short playoff run.

Maybe the Oilers have space for him, that's another team that has too many forwards that don't know what it means to play D.

I don't think anybody wants to pay a "bargain" price of $6M for a guy who is an annual ghost in the playoffs and only had 14 goals in 60 games last year.

Past 2 seasons he was fine in the playoffs, and he was injured much the season this year.
He had 42 goals the previous season I highly doubt he will have another bad season this year.

And yeah, you sound like the typical guy who thinks he's a worthless scrub.

he was injured this past season and actually played well in the playoffs although it was only 5 games.  Hes a very good defensive forward.  I agree that if a team that doesnt need him to be their top scorer had him they would be very happy.  Im not sure how much of the contract the rangers would have to eat but i think he is a very attractive player under the right circumstance
