Dunno.  I've disputed many claims without any issues at all.

Just curious . What kind of dispute. Once I had problem with hotel and Amex removed the night.
Am I missing  a lot of opportunity

Yes. Just like over paying in other ways. But why would you want to do that?
Don't want to. I did by mistake just wanted to make sure it'll go through.
If you're trying to prepay for a large purchase, it could be an F/R trigger.
Nah, got plenty of credit. Thanks guys.

Oh, Amex is definitely the best. I think that's a unanimous opinion.

As an honest mistake I entered on a Citi CC application the first three digits of my SS number wrong. What can I expect now?

You still may receive the CC they match it to the correct SSN, or check if you had a a credit pull, If not then apply again.

I have been off by 2 digits (example 123-213). The app went through.

Call recon, if they couldn't pull your report they'll ask you to fix your SSN and then the rep will resubmit your app.

I called recon and they didn't want to discuss anything over the phone... "You have to wait for the letter in the mail" they didn't even want to tell me if it's declined or pending...

I did get an inquiry on my report. That really sucks... If I don't get it approved I gotta wait ninety days.

I downgraded by Barclay Lufthansa card to a no AF card. They said I'll get 10k points for 1k spend in the new card. I spent $600 and after that I put a refundable ticket on that card, and the points posted (did not pay bill).
Now that I've cancelled the ticket will they claw back the points?
(I don't really mind if they do, I just need to know if I should bother putting another $400 on that card)

if they pulled Ur credit obviously they figured out the SSN, so doesn't make sense they'd deny it because you entered it wrong.

That's right, But then they shouldn't decline because of wrong SSN, since they got the info they needed.
Incorrect
Even if they pulled the report they can decline the app just because the SSN wasn't entered correctly ?
