Irrelevant. Point is that we somehow figured out that TJ chips are better than the rest. They weren't popular because of the TJ brand. They were popular because of the quality and taste.

For years I have been speaking to average female customers informing them of the 'find' that TJ had.

yes, we are aiming for the Jewish population, however, we are in talks with 2 national chains in order to reach more consumers and keep prices low for all.

nope. Although one owner (he's not the whole USA, maybe mostly east/mid-west) knows me in-person by name I would not expect that.
When he sees, tastes the product, and if it's the best price for a nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, 45% cacao product, then perhaps he may consider it.

Right , but even if its marketed as " comparable to TJ's" (which it isn't as this time ) , it won't help - bed the frummies aren't familair with TJ's.

The goal is to keep the high quality and aim for the lowest possible pricing for all.

They are right now in a Cleveland store. $2.99 per 10 oz bag in Unger's in CLE.   
(I told them it will sell out in a few days. CLE now has a few back-up cases. Thanks Barryg for the Mitzvah + free delivery!  Let's sell out and use the backups.)

CMIIW, but if I understand all of what CS1 is saying, these chocolate chips seem to be the next modern day gold rush.

I don't get it. I imagine Benz is making something on these, yet he is still able to pass them on to customers for $2.50 a bag even with a Credit Card, while a private ddf sale where you need to buy a whole box costs $2.64 per bag and cash only? (And both locations are in CH).
(Im not complaining, im just trying to do some math )

I assume CS1 wants to make this worth his while. Sells 100 cases to Benz's @$2.25/piece making ~.10¢/piece. But to sell to a single box is a pain so he is making ~.40¢/piece

Def recommend BenZ's on Albany where it's $3.29 per bag or 2 for $5.

However if this group can only come to CH after 9pm, or of there is a quantity limit, or if the special price times out, then the per-case could be an option.

I am unsure how the regular price can be $3.29 at BenZ's while in Cleveland, where you're obviously incurring shipping and packaging  fees, the price is $2.99.

To be blunt, I find it unfair that this is being advertised as a deal while it is being sold for a better price, and without quantity restrictions, at local stores.

Additionally, I find it hard to believe that Benz's is going to "run out" of this "special price."
