it's showing that we have assigned 1D and 1G. My question is if the bulkhead seats are worth the noise in the front or that's not a concern.

I know that 1A and 1K have a much larger footwell not sure about the middle 2I was using sound canceling headphones so not sure about the noise

As @Gvann pointed out LOT/Air Belgium not flying anytime soon, so probably worth avoiding. If you can get a "Throne Seat", I would say go with Austrian. Otherwise, the Polaris would be more private for flying alone (keep in mind its a 767). Just my $0.02.

1. Read that throne seats have less leg space when in bed mode (any data-points??), and it costs extra except if still available when checking in online.
2. I'd choose UA Polaris over Austrian (at least on their 777), but the leg to Zurich is only available in economy vs Austrian that's fully business, my question is if united is so much better that it's worth flying the short leg in economy.

Polaris definitely better than Austrian, on 767 everyone is in their own row. Swiss lounge is nice, and in TLV there basically no difference, I would imagine you would even get the title of "business" in terms of elite check in, etc.. If it were lay flat then there would be what to ask about but being that its just a matter of where the seat is on the plane i would not think about it too much.

Also I think to EWR Austrian flies a 777 with no throne seats though i dont know that for sure.

I checked the seat map, there is throne seats available, for now I just booked both (fully refundable fare of course, and had enough points in my account anyway) and will decide closer to the flight which one to take, maybe business on the short leg will pop up, or there might be a schedule change as LH group is starting slowly with operations to/from TLV.

there's also an option with an overnight layover with swiss business on a widebody=lie flat seats TLV-ZRH, anything to do overnight in Zurich?

if you have two reservations booked during overlapped time periods it may be an issue. but mistama that would be an issue that would occur sooner rather than later (when there would still be availability to rebook)

but also if you credit the two trips to two different FF accounts (i.e. to a swiss account for one and a united account for the other) then that may avoid any issues as then it may not trigger the same passenger info though totally not sure on that.

@Dan Did you try writing to the press office of the FAA as to why they haven't still gotten around to testing car seats in angled seats?

I changed one itinerary to a day earlier (Thanks for letting me know it could be an issue!), so far both itineraries are still valid, they're on different operating airlines so probably no problem
