Didn't say they were elderly. I just implied they weren't 25 (which they're not).
Heck, even at 25, 12 different segments, over 25,000 miles, four destinations, in less than two weeks, would be tiring. Fun probably, but tiring.
But, hey, if they're up for it...
Who do you think taught Dan to love traveling? OK he added in the first class luxury part but we have always traveled. We have taken our kids all over the USA including Hawaii, Canada, Bahamas, Costa Rica , Puerto Rico...
My husband has a hard time sitting still and no one can keep up with his hiking. Dan has called me many times saying Abba is crazy we can't hike up that mountain. Killer Bees, Rattlesnakes, and getting a H2 stuck in a remote area and being rescued by plane are only a few of the adventures we have been through.
Last time we did Europe in a week staying mostly on overnight train cars. We once did the road to Hana in a convertible in 1 1/2 hours. This was not our first choice of itins but by the time the wedding date was set this was the best that we could pull together. I will get home and sleep for days, but my husband will be at work the next morning.
Thanks for all your help, this is our first vacation as a couple in over a decade!
