Apparently you met the terms as you passed the 90 days. So why shouldn't you be awarded the points?

Added an AU to my plat account. I was told the 175 will be charged in 5-7 business days. I wanna cancel before that happens however they didn't want to expedite the card since I didn't give them a social. Any ideas?

Give it a day or two to ship out and then cancel?

That's what I was thinking, it's just hard to know when it will ship out. Guess if I ordered it tonight I will cancel on Friday and hope for the best. They said the fee isn't till 5 biz days.

I sent an sm to Amex to close the plat and send me a 450 dollar check. They closed the account but I have no clue what is with my refund because although they kindly responded with an sm it wasn't possible to read it as they closed the account.

did u mention to refund u for the fee or u just said send me a check for 450?

I asked for a refund of the fee, and in addition I asked for it to be mailed to me. Right now I see a credit of 450 dollars on the account, so I guess I will wait and see what happens. If they don't cut me a check I will just call in.

send them an sm asking for the check or they can transfer the 450 to a dif card that has a balance.. when they send u a check it takes abt 2 weeks tho

Once the account is closed the sm function is disabled. You can't even read the past sm's that they sent you.

It takes a couple days for them to send out a check. Till then it will show a credit of $450.
