Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

Do as credit.
If they disallow CC will GC work regardless?

Any body having issues paying bills. I have a payee, that ive used in the past, and now its saying something like invalid account number. Was on the phone 1/2 hour...
Anybody have this issue?
I had this issue with serve recently - it looks like they changed their system a little, and are more strict about what you enter in "account number". What I did in the end was edit that payee, and take out the account number, and then it worked fine.

I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

^Oh no, this is NOT on the downward slope, benjie. Keep dreaming. Get in your Feb loads and unloads while you still can.

Done for Feb already!

Then again, I don't know what suspicious activity Avromie and Marco Polo are all about :)

I actually always have some real Target spend when I upload my RC lol.

(I was wondering how fast I was going to get a comment from you on this  ;D)

You can buy stuff in the same transaction as loading RC?

I never did that because I'd rather buy stuff at 5% off and pay with my RC, but maybe it's a good idea...

I got a similar one last month. They wanted me to show proof I owned the linked bank account. It was NBD.

I don't have any account linked yet. Did send a couple checks though. I'm not too worried.

So you submitted a payment with a blank account number??
She tried telling me to do that. However, it would not move to the next screen if the account # was blank.

ETA:
I couldn't tell her that i just did it from another account!

I would delete the payee and then put them in again.

I did it with a blank account number. It was serve, though. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Not sure.

Will they stop you from sending money from that account to another RC account (with email address)? Will they stop you from loading? If not, you can keep loading and just send the money to your own RC account and dump off from there.

I didn't - I was paying rent. I put my address in the check memo instead of account #, like I was doing.

What kind of account# were you using? Was it all numbers, or did it have letters too?

I believe the Wiki talks about loading GC's

The wiki just says they can be used, but not if all GC can be used as a debit.

All numbers US Bank Mortgage...but it worked from a different account. I think i will just 'send money' from the non working RC to the working RC, and pay the bill that way.

If that's the case, maybe deleting the payee and recreating it would work too.

Either way, good luck!
