Since October 12, 2015, the prepaid REDcard (Redbird) can only be loaded at Target with cash. It can still be loaded online with a bank-issued debit card, up to $200/day and $1K/month.

Therefore, for MS (manufactured spending) Redbird is now considered dead. RIP!

does anyone know how to take a joke? or is he joking back at you? i think dealfinder may be missing the sarcasm. lol

on a serious note...

at 5k at staples thats 25 vgc cards times the 6.95 activation= 173.75 activation so i am earning 25000 miles for 173...
for arguments sake each mile is valued at .012? so i am getting '300' minus the 173.75 making it only 126.25 per a red card..not great for all my effort...
the only catch is i an looking at the 25000 miles as a plane ticket and if i use it to go to israel or la then its worth way more the .012 ..

am i correct? i dont want to make a rookie mistake

Depends on what you get with the points... not hard to get a value of .03 per point

Is there any problem to pay the Amex card that I loaded with, directly from my red card?

I made a mistake calculating and accidentally tried to load an extra penny on to the card today and went over the max for the day.  Was loading with 2 different cards.  For the second load I did 1000 + 146.88 ( when is should have been 146.87) My receipt says $1146.88 but the last 146.87 never loaded.  Anyone have any experience with this?  Will the charge on my cc end up showing as 1000 or 1146.88.  If the latter, what happens to the 146.88 that never loaded?
What was the outcome of this?

in terms of what type of flight he books
but you arent stockpiling miles to travel, it sounds like you are stockpiling miles to for clothes, shelter, educating your kids, etc.

Poor guy took him seriously. The sarcasm was dripping and he still took the bait.
