The AA Advantage Executive Platinum number with almost no waiting time has ended. Had to wait 16 minutes. Does anyone have the new good number?

According to Wiki in "Starwood Starpoints Transfer To Airline Miles Master Thread" Starwood > Aerplan transfers..."Aeroplan - Names don't need to match. - Usually takes about a day and half to 2 days to transfer."

Thanks. Is there a cutoff time before the flight?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

For awhile I've noticed mostly AC flights available and barely any from partners.

I think it's since the new aeroplan.

Am I missing something?

Is there another program that would show more Star Alliance flights that is a transfer partner with AmEx or Chase?

Lifemiles ?

I doubt it. if anything, I would assume that lifemiles would show even fewer results

My sense is that what you're describing might be true for close-in awards.  I suspect that partner award availability will expand the farther out on the calendar you look...  Just my $.02.

Are you seeing flights on the United calendar that aren't showing up on Aeroplan, or are you just not seeing flights in general? I just booked an LH flight using Aeroplan today, haven't noticed anything amiss with availability. It's true there are less award flights available in general this summer, but that's not Aeroplan's fault.

You are right, United doesn't offer more.

I guess it's all the AC flights that were never offered when Aeroplan was independent.

Now it's similar to United in that they each show their own Metal plus whatever Star flights are available.

Thanks.

I found a flight on AC but the transfer from chase took 27 hours and the price went up, Is there a way to get the old price honored?

Should work online when searching separately as multi city, but cost more

If JFK FRA is not on AC metal you should be able to do it, if you can reach an agent. If it involves AC metal it will reprice.
they claimed that they can’t do it

was it a new account? Did you speak to someone to get it done or did it just transfer by itself after 27 hours?
Waiting already 6 hours for my points to transfer… thanks!

It was not a new account. (It was the 3rd transfer from that chase account and 4th transfer of the day). It came through on it's own.

I opened a new aeroplan account and transferred 175,000 chase points. After a while I realize the points are not showing up. I called them, they say that the compliance department placed a security freeze on the account. I need to email them proof of identity and address. I emailed them the proof and waited another day, still no points showing in my account. I called them again and they said it can take a couple of days…
I need to book a ticket ASAP!. Any idea how to deal with the situation?
