What’s the best way to book a OW from TLV to CDG on LX in J?
I see on awardhacker.com that SQ is 25K and OZ is 30K and LH is 35...
Is this accurate and how can I find out the YQ?

TIA

SQ with roughly $200 in YQ
i just called them, they said it’s 29K plus $219.10 in Singapore dollars on LX metal and if I take TK metal then it’s also 29K + $187.50 in Singapore dollars both are in J, is this accurate? Sounds like the agent is wrong from what I remember around DDF...
Can anyone confirm?

@davidrotts63 didn’t you do this itinerary and pay less miles and more YQ?

Deval...
$219 SGD sounds about right now. It should be about 150 CHF.
Seems LX lowered their YQ by about 50 CHF

How to book LY BOS-TLV with QF?
I don't see this route on qantas.com.  Do I need to call?
Will the reps be able to see it?

240k = about $1300-$1400 so if cash price is higher then youre good. You can get a 7 night Cat 1-4 Marriott certificate plus 100k QF  for 330k so your 7 night Cat 1-4 costs you an extra 90k which is good for 7 nights at a 30k hotel...but you can buy them for $475 so not that great a value.

How do you tell the value of the miles?

Meaning, the cash of a flight is $266 RT and the miles cost is currently 16,500 RT

So is that a "good" deal?

TIA
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

So is that a "good" deal?

TIA
Deduct how much the taxes would be from the revenue price, then divide the remaining amount by the amount of miles.
So let’s say revenue is $266.20, and mileage is 16,500 + $11.2.
Deduct the $11.2 leaving $255, then 255/16500 = 1.545 cents per point.

If you value your points at more then that rate (ie. 2cpp), you’re getting bad value. If you value them at less (ie. 1cpp) you’re getting good value.
