My Aeroplan miles expired on 02/17/2017. Looking for Aeroplan-eligible (Avis, Budget, Hertz) receipts in the 6 months before the expiration date to reinstate miles. Please PM me. Willing to pay if it works.

My Aeroplan miles are expiring shortly and I have an upcoming reservation at Hertz. I can't seem to get Hertz to credit the points to Air Canada. How can I make sure my miles don't expire?

A) being that submission is to rental company (hertz), should be submitted with renter's name? or name on FF account?
[I would assume renter, but does UA not see name?]

B) best way to submit? use the form? call/email?

C) how do you know if it went through? do you find out if it's rejected?

United said on the phone that by signing up for a new cc your miles will be reinstated, any reason not to do that, I had my last card almost 3 years ago

The wiki says budget for southwest.
Is that because there are reported success stories with budget or because it is known that the other rental companies don't work?

How long does it usually take from when rental miles show up until miles are reinstated?
I had hertz miles credit show up in my UA account on 4/9 but still no reinstatement. should I wait? need to call?
