I want to use my annual reward certificate for a booking next week... but it hasn't arrived yet!
My email says it will be 8-12 weeks from the anniversary date, i'm just past the 8 weeks.  Any data points on whether this tends to come through at the 8 weeks or closer to the 12?

Just as a DP my annual free night from my AMEX Marriott cards (both business and consumer) were only posted into my account about 30 days after my annual fee was due, however, my Chase Marriott card posted my free night yesterday and I have not gotten the annual fee for it yet.

My Chase Marriott anniversary night posted, got the annual fee a bit later.  On the fence about keeping the card.  What happens if I cancel before the fee is due - do they claw back the anniversary night (which they have every right to do)?

No

Why would I keep it then, considering I've got the Amex Bonvoy cards now?

I currently hold the Chase Marriott Business card and the Amex Bonvoy consumer and business (formerly SPG, these new Bonvoy names are too confusing  ;))
I tried applying for the Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card and a dialogue appeared that since I had received a SUB on the SPG card I wouldn't be eligible for the 100k SUB. Is it worth it to still apply for the card w/o a SUB just to get another anniversary night?

How would I ever be if I have no intention of closing my Bonvoy Amex (former SPG)?

Why is it that when I send a referral link to my friend it gives him a different offer than on chase.com? and is there any way for me to get the referral bonus and him to get the regular offer. (the referral offer is 3 nights of up to 35k each and the reg. offer is just a straight 100k)

What is more worthwhile: to refer my wife and get 20k on my account and 3 35k certs on hers, or have her sign up straight and get 100k pts?

If you don't have any specific plans in mind, the 100k. If you search for places you could use the certificate and find something you like, then the referral. Keep in mind many properties go up in 2 days and Cat 5 properties could charge 'peak' pricing of 40k meaning you can't use your certificate those nights. You can't just add another 5k in points.

I have a Amex personal and business bonvoy card. Also, I have a chase Marriott card. I was just notified that the amex business card annual fee is going up to$125.
I don't need all these cards
What is the comparison for these cards?
Do you get the same level reward certificate, 35k?
Same elite status?
Annual fee? Seems from amex the business card is$125 and personal $95

I booked a category 5 hotel the night before the hotel went up to a 6 using a free night. I made a few bookings for a few dates that I may want as I have multiple free nights. Now I got an email that due to COVID-19 the hotel is closed for those dates and my reservation is cancelled. The issue now is that I wont be able to rebook that hotel because it went up in catergory. Is there any way that they would let me rebook later?
