It's possible that he may feel that answering such a question to begin with would be contrary to Emunah and Bitachon....

You can take a photo of the tags from your flip phone too. Just remember, since the actual merchandise is mostly not stored in the showroom, you can stroll around snagging photos of the items you like, only to find out at the pickup level that they are ALL out of stock. That was a major annoyance for me, the merchandise aisles were mostly empty

. They should really place a red OOS sticker on all items in the showroom that are oos if they care not to madden people.

I thought Click and Collect was for online orders? That's what i was hoping to do. How do you tell them that you're here? Is there staff in the parking area?

BTW last time I was at ikea there were a bunch of things in the showroom that had tags that said out of stock

Sorry, I missed the "click and collect" keyword there, can't answer on that.

There was no indication for oos items last time I was at Brooklyn Ikea.

You don't need to have the smartphone there, but you need to fill out the click and collect (prefilled) form at the link they send you, with your parking space number.
So you can have someone somewhere else fill it out when you arrive.
They will only need your order number, they also officially need to see your I'd.

There was a team of people who would prepare the Lubavitcher Rebbe's sichos for publication. They were once working on a sicha where the Rebbe spoke about an idea similar to this. They included this quote in the version of the sicha they submitted to the Rebbe for editing. They were not able to find a source, so they left the footnote empty, for the Rebbe to fill in (as they would do when they couldn't find the source.)

I don't remember exactly what the Rebbe responded, but something that indicated that this was not a ma'amer chazal.

Why do almost all nusach sefared siddurim put vehei noam for motzei shabbos after marriv and all ashkenaz siddurim I have ever used put it in the back?

Because ashkenaz says vyiten lecho in mariv
