Shmueli Ungar's new album is out on all platforms by now. He gets special mention, as I fist heard of Shmueli on DDF

Even though this thread is virtually dead, I’m going to review DDF’s own Sibling Singer, Shmueli Ungar’s debut album, Shmueli 2.

So far I will say Habitah is incredible.

@stbaum, I know you aren't active here anymore, but maybe you'll see this ping... Any reason why he changes his havarah on Habita (like he did on his first album)?

Matisyahu getting back in to the JM scene is weird. Especially by such a mainstream org.

The last time mainstream JM heard of him before TYH was with his collab with Moshav "World on Fire". (He also did a song called Poseach with Yimmy that went under the radar). Otherwise he vanished to us.

He was never in the "JM" scene. Even appearances like HASC 18 just solidified that he wasn't part of the scene.

Lol, I actually didn't believe that when I heard it, as I had literally watched him in the video. The fact that two videos were made is hilarious.

Whats funny is that arguably.his most Jewish sounding song, One Day, is also his biggest non-Jewish hit as well.

Personally, I couldn't stand the stuff. Moreover, and this should've occurred to the organizers, it was very DIFFERENT than anything else they had featured, and this should have given them pause.
