Correct. It could have been resolved in such a normal fashion. A full FBI+congressional  investigation that lasts 3 months.

But it's unfair to K that he should lose out on this because of politics.


I personally have said that a full investigation that happens after the vote is fair. At that point unless there is a smoking gun after every rock has been turned over he stays.

If this is the new qualification then if there are  new allegations to an existing SC justice they would launch an investigation as well.

This is a slippery slope...but shouldn't single out one from the others

I don't think it's fair to simply ignore the politics that caused all the Ruckus. I don't see the Ds outraged of K Ellison's allegations. I'm not trying to point out the obvious that 90% (and growing) of politicians are hypocrites, just that I'm not sure if this would have been M Garland anyone would care (or take her seriously without corroboration etc.)

Politics has nothing to do with this. I know many feel it is impossible to separate the two. If the those voting are honest they will vote on the merits.

What's the more info you are talking about? They claim the FBI report revealed nothing new. The only new info we have is her testimony. That testimony was deemed credible by everyone on the committee. That is about the only thing they agree on.

most people dont believe that shes lying entirely , just that there are a lot of problems with the story . chances are that someone did do something to her , but there is nothing to prove that it was kavanaugh
