Chase Sapphire Reserve BENEFITS master thread

5/24 applies to this card
Minimum $10K of CL is needed, so if you can't get 10K on an instant, there's another great reason to get declined

DansDeals.com » Blog Archive » Chase Sapphire Reserve Additional User Benefits And Lounge Guesting Policy Are Awesome!

There are multiple instances reported on this very thread of someone who was way over 5/24 and did not have PC and who got approval after recon.

The information below no longer applies for 2016/2017 but should still be useful for 2017/2018

Can you still get a 2016 travel credit if you apply now for a Sapphire Reserve card?

People have been reporting various due dates in January. If you get a due date between the 6th to the 25th then your bill will close between December 9th-28th and you will have time to spend the $300 in 2016 travel credit.

It is definitely still possible to get those due dates, but there’s no guarantee. If you do apply then be sure to call reconsideration to see if you can get approved today.
You may also be able to change your payment due date to generate a December statement if your due date is earlier than January 6 or later than January 25th. Just call to have you due date changed to January 25th to have your statement close on December 28th.

From here. Hopefully this will stop the constant questions.

The rep told me that my statement closes Dec 28 with due date Jan 25. Online it hasn't shown the change. She said it won't until the next cycle. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
Sure whats your chase login?  :o :o

If you pushed up the date, it may skip the first cycle, in which case your first statement will close Jan 28. Its a close call and I guess you'll have to wait and see.

LOL. The lady on the phone confirmed that my next statement closes Dec 28 with a due date of Jan 25. However it's not showing on my chase account.

After a few SM's finally: I apologize for the previous response. I?ve processed your
request to change your first statement date and payment
due date. Your payment due date will now be on the 25th of
each month, effective on your December 28, 2016 first
billing statement.

I sm to change the date to the 20th of the month and they said I can change to any date but it will take a few months for the change to apply. Any way around this or different experiences?

I'm in utter disbelief. After waiting for about 6 days for verification they tell me I'm denied b/c the proof I sent them is a little blurry. Is it worth reapplying at this point? I just attempted a 2bm last week on this and ritz for my dw and both were sent to verification.

My dad was approved for the CSR. If I upgrade his freedom to CSR To get the $600 in travel credits, will that mess up the 100k bonus?

The same question will stop being asked over and over, hopefully.

That's what I was thinking. Yes I'm really getting tired of it, it's not just this thread either.

Changing due dates.
Amazing to see that there is actually a reset button out there. And it really works, once a year...All deals and promos are over and here we start fresh.
