The Ink MC or SP MC - are the primary insurers, or are they secondary? Meaning you still need to drop 20+ bucks a day on the CDW?

So, in Israel with the SP MC, you are still required to pay some CDW or NONE at all? That is my question - sorry for being so obtuse in my writing!

Cool so no CDW or third party liability either? Does this apply to all car rental companies in Israel, or will some give you a hard time? I heard at Ben Gurion - you are almost forced - even with a SP MC?

Liability is always required.
Not all companies allow you to decline CDW.

If you book through an agent, he should be able to reverse the charge if they forced you into it. IME (as an agent

) Avis, Budget and Thrifty won't force you to buy CDW.

If you take CDW/TP, you don't have to take LI (since it's "included"). If you decline CDW/TP, you have to pay for LI. In some cases, even though CDW/TP is $15, LI can be $12, so instead of saving $15 you're only saving $3.

Yea, but if something were to happen that required an insurance payout, there is no deductible...

Sorry to bug you guys again, but a friend of mine who just was in Israel, said that he used the Sapphire preferred MC and did not pay CDW or liability, is he mistaken? Used Hertz at Lod Airport.

I will check with him, but either way, if this is the case - these cards are not helping that much - are they? A 3 dollar savings is money, but this is not the metzia I was hoping for.

Depends on Company and the car, I have seen $5-25 differences per day.

i just had the sapphire visa and got the 40k signup bonus and just switced to be a mastercard now. will i be able to get the 40k signup bonus again? or is it used up since i just had it with visa
