Went to Roza (emek refaim) last night. My wife & I got the chefs tasting menu, which consists of a bunch of randomly chosen appetizers & mains & a dessert at the chefs discretion. You can’t tell them what you want but you can tell them if you don’t eat raw fish or meat. We ended up with a salad, focaccia, 3 kebab type dishes - cigar, some type of fried pita with kebab meat in it & kebab balls over eggplant & hummus, pargiot over rice, fillet mignon & entrecôte. Everything was delicious some stuff was a bit repetitive & obviously the mains were a bit skimpy. They brought us a fish even though we asked not to bring any fish, so we sent it back & I don’t think we got anything instead of it. I didn’t love the fact that you have no idea what they’re supposed to be bringing you so you have no idea if they left something out or if more food is coming… Service left much to be desired. Overall food was great & prices were pretty good as well, so for Israel it’s definitely a place I’d return. Cost was 200 shek a head for tasting menu.
