If you are using reports of break ins to justify a killing you better have something more to back it up than some vague unverifiable claim.

There was one breakin according to the police. What part of that is not true?
This idiot got his gun stolen because he was reckless.

The context is they chased someone with guns trying to get him to stop against his will. You think that is legal?

What I said in my first post remains true even with all your pages of excuses and technicalities. Even in your worst case scenario, that the guy was a *suspected burglar* who got killed after going for the killers' gun, they are still murderers.

The fact that it took a public outrage to get an investigation is a crying criminal shame. The fact that an arrest happened because of media attention is an issue, but in the context of a man getting killed by macho wannabe cowboys, and a blatant coverup by a DA, renders it all but insignificant.

It is more than that. They pressed charges only after there was media pressureBECAUSE it made them no longer able to continue the cover-up.

This seems like a great way to get away with murder. attack someone with a gun and as soon as he tries to fight back boom it is self defense.
