Can't remember. I'd assume yes. By email or through their site. I know they emailed back and sent a letter in the mail.

AA DFW-ATL on new A319 in-seat IFE was defective.  Executive Platinum MM seated in FC (upgrade) F/A attempted to reset seat unsuccessfully.  Wrote into CS, received canned reply and 4000 AAdvantage miles.

Hope it doesn't happen to you either, but I was warned before that it might happen, on that route it does happen often.

I paid $800 for domestic first class on DL, when I got to the airport there was not a seat for me in first class and I seat in economy. What kind of compensation can I ask for, and is it better to ask in writing or by phone?

Firts you need to write to open a case if not they wont take your call if you don't have a case.
Though that's for UA, not sure if the same goes for DL.

How long should it take for them to get back to you? I entered my complaint online on the UA site like 10 days ago.
How do they respond? By email or by snail mail?

Just got it. Here is the choice: electronic travel certificate for $400, or credit of 20,000 bonus miles to your MileagePlus account.

What do I take? Or can I "spin again"? :-)

Airline: Delta
Flight: EWR- ATL
Class: Coach (Standby- Revenue)
Incident: Super rude gate agent forced me to gate check my small rollaboard which included medicine, valuables, tefillin, etc. Wouldn't let me remove my items. Threatened me to place me on a later flight.  Boarded plane to find almost every overhead empty.
Compensation: 15K DL points & reimbursed ticket.

Citibank screwed up my downgrade from annual fee card to no fee. 60+ days later account still said I owed $85 while every rep I chatted with told me the credit should have posted.  Citi credited 10k AA points to my account.

Had my luggage delayed overnight. Anybody know Uniteds compensation policy for luggage delays overnight. Thanks
Just to update, I did get full reimbursement from United for all my expenses and had my luggage delivered the next morning.

Did not have one of the Kosher Meals, and the other one was still Frozen and the plastic was opened.

US Express Republic PIT-BOS on Avios redemption.  Flight cancelled due to crew.  Next non-stop flight was not for six hours.  Did not receive email or call from USAIR.  Wrote to Customer Relations received $75 voucher.
