CC they gave her a receipt. I think what they did was cancel her Boston flight and for that they charged her! I will ask her tomorrow for more details but this is the story.

That's clear from the receipt. They charged her a change fee to cancel the flight

Yes
She is scared to do a charge back as she does not want to get blacklisted

Have a return flight on AA 1599 from MIA --> LGA on Tue 2/10 @ 2:15pm with unassigned seats.  There are no available regular economy seats and only 4-5 upgrade seats available.  Wife and I only need to get back to NYC before work on Wed 2/11.  Hoping the flight stays full and we can take a bump...

You will get a standard $15 credit for that. Though sometimes you can get more, even $100 for that.

What was the cause of the delay?
First it was a delay in the incoming aircraft (funny know why), then (about three hours into the delay) after it landed there was something wrong with the plane so we had to wait for them to arrange a different one (about another hour)

I took a UA flight lax-ewr. They put 2 of my checked in bags that had my clothes on the next flight. Delivered it to me the next afternoon to Monsey.
Sent me a check for $175 for clothes that I had to go out and buy during the time I didn't have the bags!!!

Just got a 50.00 pp voucher from UA for failure to provide kosher meals on a first class ticket.  Dan previously posted about getting a 200 credit.  What are the chances of getting them to give me 200 pp and what would be the best way to approach this  - call/email?

TIA

Can someone please paste an email they sent to an airline complaining about no KSML? I booked 3 people in business class on UA for tonight EWR-TLV and they were informed that there is no KSML for them. And the Chutzpeh is that instead of apologizing they just said that there was no KSML requested. In fact I called in 2 times to confirm that the KSML request is in there and I just called again and the rep indeed confirmed that KSML are requested.
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

The following is an email I wrote for my father to send to united. He got 5,000 mileage plus miles.

To whom this may concern,
On November _, 2014 I took a flight from ewr to tlv. I had ordered a kosher meal in advance and it was written on my itinerary that I would get one. Well, when it came my turn for my food, the flight attendant said that they ran out and I wasn't even on the list. I said yes I was on the list bec I saw the meals lined up behind the middle section last row and the list was on top. My name didn't have next to it a black magic market mark but my name was on the list. I couldn't believe she said my name wast on the list - the nerve. I had also called the airline 48 hours before the flight to confirm that I had it.
Now I am a big guy and need to be fed. I didn't bring real food because I was relying on the plane food. This was a very long flight, about 9 and a half hrs. Sometime later in the flight, the flight attendant brought me just the "main hot" portion, but it was freezing cold -yuk. I am a frequent United airlines flyer for many years. I expect better and more organized customer service.
Respectfully, I await your expeditious reply.
Sincerely,
