A forum member is an individual, a mosed is an institution.

I'd add that when a mossad makes policies to accommodate an individual's hate, that is institutional hate (even if the mossad itself does not "hate.")

Now lets talk about people in CH calling people snags and the like. I have seen comments about Rav Shach right here on these forums that would be decried as sinas lubavitch had they been said about the Rebbe.
Sina is wrong wherever it's coming from.

Fwiw, the conversation was started with

the old machlokes with the litvaks centuries ago?

It's a long forgotten subject that is never even mentioned.
And people letting him know, for us it isn't something we heard from our grandparents, it's something he heard our whole life from litvish peers and rebeim.

The matter at hand here is that it exists, not who's right and who's wrong.

But to reiterate my position: Sina is wrong wherever it's coming from.

I don't know what your issue is. I made a statement that is self understood. I did not say "but" or add any qualifiers or conjunctions. This discussion has included both types and I differentiated between the two.

Where do you see institutional outside of CLE?

CLE is not the only place with that policy, I'd rather not get into this rabbit hole when 99% of us are in agreement.

I'm not naive enough to think there are no Chabad Mosdos with similar issues. Like JJ said, this discussion was initiated with a bizarrely one sided question, which led to our turning one way.

Uh. Obviously it's not only CLE when CLE is just copying Lakewood.

David Elliot is chicken, not meat.
I'm talking about Shor Habor meat, etc. You won't find that in a CLE or Lakewood restaurant or take out counter.
that might be the issue. Not CHK directly
ETA: while I'm familiar with those who won't eat lubavitch schechita, I'm more familiar with those who don't eat agri period but will eat Montreal .
In cle, do they allow agri at all?

Agri is allowed. But they won't allow the CHK despite R' Weissmandel saying it's the same thing and both are under his achrayis.

Is Montreal only CHK? Do they distribute nationwide?

As another aside on the hechsher thing, RYB once commented that Rav Landau Zatzal's hechsher is probably the best one in the country. (It is one of the four that he recommends without reservation to everybody.) He said that every other hechsher has as many mashgichim that they hire, but Rav Landau's has the entire Bnei Brak as mashgichim.
If you don't know why this is relevant, I aint sayin.

To go back to Thursday's post, four pages ago: I was educated to the fact that I am a Lubavitcher in training.
Here's the checklist so far:
-Holds the Tanya is an ikkur hashkafa sefer CHECK
-Burns with a love for Hashem and other Yidden, and wants to spread it CHECK
-Cares about the pnimius instead of just the motions CHECK
-Davens Ari Berditchev CLOSE ENOUGH
-Has the name Menachem Mendel in the Mishpacha CHECK
-Wears a gartel NOPE
-Alcoholic beverages consumed regularly: wine ABJECT FAILURE

...Sorry, not yet. I'm working on it, though.  :)

He scored low on the hat smash event, but medaled in shirt untuckedness.

He also, I’m told, slept in the Sukka.

How would you explain the difference between
if the grandfather was a mekusher or if he is a lubavitcher?

I think I asked a very simple non threatening question. You’re not being very helpful.

Someone up thread mentioned something similar about רב חיים נאה, I’m trying to figure out if he falls into the same category.
