I believe there's no chiyuv to make if one doesn't have.
An orange itself is likely הנותן ריח טוב לפירות and if you eat it's problematic.
Orange peels that are set aside for besomim is בורא מיני בשמים according to some poskim
The correct bracha on cinnamon or hadasim is בורא עצי בשמים. Nevertheless, in havdalah, the minhag is to say בורא מיני בשמים.
Is there any reason why הנותן ריח טוב לפירות should be different?

Because it's not a type of besomim (my guess). The reason we make Minei is because most people aren't בקי in the correct bracha for every type of besomim (עשבי/עצי). Vs. the bracha on fruit peels according to many is indeed מיני (Or עצי).

Hence there are those who believe there's a הידור in getting Musk or Amber for motzei shabbos because the correct bracha on those is מיני

What's the earliest time one can count Sefira?
ideally tzais, but you can count from shkiah
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Can someone explain to me the sevarah to assur wearing a dress watch on Shabbos? Why is it different from a tie?

(Besides for Rav Moshe's directive to his Talmidim to not wear watches for concern that people will err and mistakenly carry pocket watches on Shabbos; I don't think this reason is really followed by anyone besides for his Talmidim and their children.)

would you wear the dress watch if it didn't work?
If not, you're really wearing it as a timepiece not as a "tachshit" or beged

Correct, though that may not apply for a recording, YLORMV.
Can you quote any reputable Ashkenazi posek that is matir kol isha on a recording?
I only heard of Reb Ovadya (Sefardi).

Define reputable :)

Quote
Twentieth Century Halachic authorities have also debated whether the Kol Isha prohibition applies to recordings and radio broadcasts.  Rav Eliezer Waldenberg (Teshuvot Tzitz Eliezer 5:2) rules leniently based on two considerations.  The first is that the Gemara (Sanhedrin 45a) states, “The Yetzer Hara is not interested in what the eyes do not see.”  The second is that technically he does not hear the woman’s voice because radio broadcasts and recordings are mere electronic reproductions of the woman’s voice.  Rav Waldenberg writes that if we cannot fulfill Mitzvot such as Tekiat Shofar and Kriat Megila when hearing them on the radio, then the prohibition of Kol Isha does not apply over the radio.  Rav Yosef Eliyahu Henkin (cited by his grandson Rav Yehudah Henkin, Teshuvot Bnei Banim 2:211 and 3:127) agrees with this position.  Rav Y.E. Henkin was unsure whether the prohibition applies to hearing a woman’s voice broadcasted on television (ibid.).  This might be because only one of the two lenient considerations that apply to the radio question is relevant to the television issue.  Rav Waldenberg cautions, though, that listening to a woman’s voice on the radio is prohibited “if his intention is to enjoy her singing.”

(The quoting of the ציץ אליעזר, who was being melamed zchus on people trying to daven and learn when there is recorded music playing constantly nearby, seems to be missing a bit of context).

If we apply some of the reasoning here that would mean that a recording of acapella is considered being heard from a kli shir.

I understood your point too. Just wanted to point out a psak on that.
Regarding the connection of the two, it won’t necessarily make kol isha muttar. If there’s הרהור (and there probably is). In addition one of the known heterim is that you don’t see or envision the female singing and nowadays that won’t apply.
In a similar point, what’s the din with trans singing touching or inappropriate sightings? Both ways…

Here's a Israeli Chabad Daf Yomi Shaila by Chavrusa told me:

In Israel, if you borrow Dollars, then its not considered "money" but "Peiros". This is a problem, because if when you borrow, say 1,000 dollars at a rate of 3.7 shekel to the dollar, and then pay him back when its 3.8 shekel to the dollar, you'll in effect be paying him back 100 shekel extra. That being so, the easy way to borrow without a problem of Ribbis is if you have a dollar on you that you could theoretically give as payment (even one dollar works). If you have that dollar, that loan is "based" on that dollar and the rate therefore gets "frozen".

The question is, though, if someone borrows dollars in Israel, and the only dollar he has is one that he received from the Rebbe Zta"l can we consider that enough to free the loan from Ribbis? Is the dollar considered by its face value or by the market value which would be much more than a dollar?

The punchline of this shailah shouldn't be about the value of that dollar, which makes no difference, it should be whether having such a dollar is considered יש לו מאותו המין.:)

If a Kohen accidentally ל״ע has a finger chopped off, can he bring it to the hospital to get reattached? (A Kohen is forbidden to be מטמא from אבר מן החי)

One who has an important business meeting; is there such a heter which would allow him to take a haircut/shave during Sefirah? (Not asking if I can do so, rather if there is such a heter)

I know of a story where someone shaved for a job interview at a non-Jewish company and didn't get the job when the interviewer told him how all the Jews in the office don't shave and you do.
