Trump says USPS has been a disaster for many years. He claims 50 years but we know that is not true.
He is asked if veterans will be getting prescriptions late? His response was, no USPS is running very well.
You can't make this stuff up.

My post wasn't serious. But I believe the point isn't whether they'd be motivated to mess with the ballots, but whether the system is secure enough to prevent fraud from happening.

Congress generally enacts laws. I'm sure you can see the difference between a law enacted by congress and the myth that the postal service is constitutionally mandated.

In 2018 I helped 15-20 people who would not be able to vote in person to request an absentee ballot. Of those, more than half (including me) did not get their ballot until after election day.

Mail in voting is going to happen. The point should be what can we do to help USPS make this work. Cancelling overtime and dismantling the machines to process the ballots is not the answer.

The constitution gives congress the authority. Now if you want to play word games as he did then that isn't fair. He should just stated the USPS is mandated by law.

Like I said his whole article is like this and I can pick it apart piece by piece but isn't worth my time. If you really care your next assignment is to find out what happened to the 50-75 BILLION the USPS overpaid the pension fund.

Funny if you take the worse figures published about USPS they don't come close to what you and others are saying. I wonder why that is, NOT!!!
