I read that no-one managed to win against the people of Panjshir, not the Russians, not the Taliban, no-one. The Taliban seem to be converging on the area, massacring men women and children. The leader of the resistance is emboldened. There are fears of thiis becoming a very bloody civil war. Russia reported to be arming Tajikistan in order to block Afghan spillover into Tajikistan.

They keep pushing these big numbers which is great but I want to know how many people we made promises to are still there. We need to take out every single one. I’m also concerned with the Admin using alternate language, they say “every American” will be taken out while Afghan will be “helped” which denotes that not all will be removed.
