How so ?
You need someone to put the brakes on.
In these hyper politicized days that's equivalent to legislation never passing, and nothing getting done.
I have always been against any one party controlling everything.
I don't accept that. We need candidates that are true to their party but also understand you need to compromise. The I's have shown again they have power. They would throw massive support behind a centrist.
The people have spoken
You and Elon.
It would be a disaster if they control everything. Will the R's finally wakeup and understand their message is falling on deaf ears?
What message?
This is like a nightmare for the R's that just keeps getting worse!!!https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/democrats-retain-control-of-senate-after-crucial-victory-in-nevada/ar-AA142XPj?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=19cfcb77e65044f0ad964f53c0a6eea0
What message did they have?
Blessing in disguise? Party needed a wakeup call.
They had one?
The guy is a complete nutcase.
You or Elon?
Just putting it out there... as someone who tends to consider himself a Republican, I think the best thing for the party is if Dems maintain control of the Senate after this election. It's almost certain that Rs will take over the house, which gives them investigation power and the ability to stop any of Biden's laws. Why do they need both houses, which can complicate things for the next election? The chances of them needed the Senate to stop a court pick seems minimal at this point.
If you are a Republican and can only have 1, which would you pick? House or Senate?
I would've picked senate the first term, to stop the judges. But now that the damage is mostly done, I think it's better to have the house.
