Did he include what they make ouside of england and especially in e.y. ? If yes that is a big change coming from him (and is very good news)

He was specifically talking about what is made OUTSIDE of England. He said in general the British hashgachos: KLBD, KF, MK, Kedasya, and Westheim have good oversight for what they certify in England. Kedasya doesn't really certify anything outside of England (but what they do is good.) Westheim was the only one he liked for their ex-England certifications.

Can you double check that?
Especially since recently I've heard in his name, (on a few topics) conflicting things even when the two reporters heard it at the same time.

I am just repeating what I thought I heard from him. He mentioned it was a change in his position and he was surprised that it was up to par. In general he is not clear when he talks about agencies. I dont plan on being near him in any time soon. Maybe someone who learns in the Mir can ask him?

He certified Krispy Kreme in many different states wincluding Hawaii without being a national operation. 

That said, I have heard from some that for Rita's and Carvel its fine.

Well that makes sense since Rita's and Carvel are likely only using kosher ingredients anyhow and there is no bishul involved.

And in a phone call with the OU they confirmed they no longer certify it because it's now being processed in a non OU supervised facility. They ensured that it's still good enough though.

My daughter came home from camp saying that they made an announcement that you should check your dried Costco Kirkland mango as it is no longer reliable

Not sure where the camp is getting their info from.

Some rabbinim in kashrus. Not going to give names, but on the more modern orthodox/meykil side of the spectrum. Still knowledgeable about kashrus though.

I suspect they are relying on the basic kashrus of the products involved and the koa ensuring that products sold I'm stores are the kosher ones.

Saw this hechsher on a bag of quinoa at Aldi's and it took me far too long to recognize it as the shape of Peru. Anyone know anything about the hechsher? There were links posted specifically for artichokes, but I didn't see much else.
