are you driving up from NY for a flight? I think you should stop and eat at the chubby chickpea on the way (if you take the 95). It's about 35 mins give or take 10 from the airport.

I don't plan on driving straight to the airport, I'll have a couple hours in Boston, should I still go there over rubins?

I'm going to be taking a flight from BOS tomorrow night, any suggestions for a good place to eat supper first.
Not looking for a high class sit down restaurant, just some good food
if you'r into Chinese, Taam China is pretty decent

Better than that IMHO, http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/31088

the food was good, however I rate it decent because of the service,
The Chinese waitress was so aggressive at some point I feared she'd punch me in the face!!

Lol. I found them blunt, but that's par for the course at a chinese restaurant.
Either way I don't go to chinese for atmosphere/service, all about the food and Taam China is among the better ones in the US.
If it was a steakhouse I'd deduct more points.

I doubt anyone.  Check the websites though.
I'd check the kollel (kollel of greater boston) and the rebbe's (cong bais pinchos), and the mesivta (no website).  Most minchas are at shekia, so probably like 5 after 8.

Where'd you end up deciding to eat?

when we walked into taam Chinese at 545 there was not a soul there. The waitress left twice in middle of taking our order to answer the phone.
The food came pretty quickly, we started off with soup and eggrolls,
The egg drop soup was great and really hits the spot as well as the hot and sour soup. The eggrolls are standard, nothing to write home about nor cry about.
For the main, the veal lomein was not so hot and tasted funky on the other hand the szechuan beef was utterly amazing. Even though it was pretty empty when we were finishing it seemed like they were hurrying us up to get out.
Overall the place had pretty good food but Terrible service.

+1 though I didn't find them to rude, just harried and therefore not so attentive.

the  Liberty from Starwood's Luxury Collection would make an interesting choice.
