Does anyone know I recently switched from Bonvoy to the Ritz card and was just charged the annual fee do I get a free night for 85k now or only after having the card for one year which would mean I pay two annual fees for one night?

How does spending $75k on this card earn Marriott Platinum? I reached the $75k spend months ago but have not seen anything to indicate that I have renewed my Platinum status. Does anyone here have experience with this situation?

Thinking of trying this with LY. Book a cheap tlv-lca and upgrade to business with ritz, and then cancel to voucher. Any reason why wouldn't work?

Yes, works the same way for amex Grubhub credits, and alike offers per month. As long as the charge will post before the end of the month you'll be fine. Though I'm curios if a charge you do on one day, will ever post the same day.

I converted after the AF charged but before I paid it, they deducted my $99 AF charge and then charged me (over 6 months later) my $450 charge. I received my FNC 12 months after I had upgraded (6 months after AF kicked in). If this is your first year they are not going to let you product change before the full year/AF.

Does it take 12 months to get the FNC regardless of when you upgrade or was just because you upgraded right after renewal?
