Anyone have GRTX? I just sold at 145% - but I only had 2 shares, so my total sale was about $6.65.
When and what made you buy?

ALLO down 20% today. You were right about a call but doesn't seem to have been related to the hold, rather some positive data on one of their drugs. Wonder if this is a good entry level.

Let's separate facts from predictions. I said there was a call for 12/13 (fact) and that some people were hoping they'd use that platform to talk about their response to the FDA (prediction) reflected in option implied volatility. Since they didn't cover that topic during the call it's not surprising that investor confidence vanished and the price dropped. Not sure that the drop makes this a good buy, unless you still believe they have a strategy but aren't telling anyone.

Bought initially after the big drop. If something is high for a long time and then drops suddenly, I assume that people will not so easily give up on something that was high for so long...

Of course it's not a foolproof plan. But I've found that a number of such speculations payed off for me.

I check "top losers" and I see what was high for a long time and then dropped. Then I roll my dice on the ones that seem nice.

On the small HSA that I mentioned, if possible I try to buy two or three pieces (or sometimes more), so I can sell half and then free ride the rest.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Except nothing that he said about Tesla is true today. I had to look back at the date to make sure this was really written this week and not 5 years ago. He may have a good point that there is a lot of hype out there, but Tesla is not all hype.

Tesla is profitable and cash flow positive while investing in new factories and technologies, and their profit margins are higher than any other carmaker. They're not raising capital like the article claims, they're actually paying down debt.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

I’m a newbie and bought teledoc and affirm a few months. They both went down and I’m not sure if I should just hold on to it. Any ideas?

No it was said a lot before the dot-com bubble. They didn't believe it back then either.

Very true but it took 4 years from the "irrational exuberance" speech before the market crashed and anyone who pulled out then missed out on a phenomenal! market.
