Not with FB but with other airlines.

please report results. thanks
Didn't end up using SU, but did gain quite a bit of FB experience with several call centers.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

AF, DL, VS or VA are all good options.
If its bookable by partners its the lowest level, so check AF site

Air France added an awesome feature, now you can see the price in miles and in $$$ or vice versa.
Very useful.

Is it normal that when I search for award availability on both AF and KLM for TLV-LAX in January there is nothing at all neither J nor any other class within the week of Jan. 14th?

AF is showing some incredibly weird options right now to go NYC-TLV in Y. For example on 1/12/2018 it shows DL4281 SWF to DTW and then DL468 DTW to TLV (here is a screenshot https://imgur.com/1v7VWUs). This is absurd as A) there is no nonstop flight from DTW to TLV and B) DL468 is Delta's direct flight from JFK to TLV. This option is being shown on many other days as well such as 1/26/18. Does anyone know whats going on? Is this a sign that Delta may finally be releasing some TLV saver award space?

Interesting, AF site is incredibly glitchy, I would try booking and if it errors out then force AF to but you on delta direct or on AF metal without fuel surcharges

"Flight DL468 includes 1 stop in New York, United States Of America. You must check the entry requirements for this country." It appears that AF is showing NYC to DTW to NYC to TLV as a way of going from NYC to TLV. As I already live in NYC do you think I could book this and just skip the detroit part?

Definitely not. Miss any confirmed segment and the rest of your trip will be cancelled.

And get on for the second leg of the trip? That would be nice

Since the flight plan is JFK to DTW to JFK to TLV, could I check in to the first flight but not get on, and wait for the TLV leg. I would wait in the airport. Would this be considered "missing" the segment?

Yes. When the plane door in DTW closes and your boarding pass wasn't scanned, you'll be considered a no-show and anything remaining will be canceled.

You might be able to call AF and have them remove the first segment (for a change fee). I say might, since it's possible that its a married-segment which is why you can't book / see it as you really want.

Does the flying blue call center see more delta availability than the website?

How often does FB have their promo fares from NYC to Europe? I'm planning a trip to Israel in late 2018 and am wondering if I should wait for a 37,500 mile promo deal or book something now.
