Not at all, Hyundai's and Kia's have been holding up very well. They have been slowly creeping into the coveted reliability category reserved for Toyota and Honda.

Would you recommend an older Sienna, say 2016 over a more recent Sedona? These seem to be the  most popular options in my neighborhood for people buying used cars.

Automated cruise is a great feature which the 2017 lacks.

That's the adaptive cruise control that slows to the speed of traffic, correct?
Or is the lane tracing assist, also available in the 2020?

I have an option for a Sienna XLE or Odyssey Touring. Which one would be a better choice to own. (Besides for the gas milage, obviously)

Never owned either so I don't have much knowledge. I have driven both many times and as far as I'm concerned I ok with both.

I know that the Touring is a higher trim than the XLE but I don't know the specifics. What quirks and features does one have that the other doesn't?

Dont have any input as I'm in the same boat but going with TOyota simply because its a hybrid. Out of curiosity how much above MSRP are you getting quoted for the sienna XLE and did you have to order in advance?

OT, I have an interesting problem on my Honda Odyssey usually the brightness of the dashboard is automatically changed based on the light outside, every little while it stops Auto changing and then it goes back to normal behavior I suspect there's some sort of sensor being blocked anyone know more?

Nothing but my cap, removed it now so far no change

Are your headlights set to Auto? That (I.e. Not being on Auto) and something on the dashboard blocking the sensor are the reasons I've found for no proper brightness adjustment.

My cap was in the center of the windshield, moved to the side and so far so good.

Another issue I'm having, every once in a while Bluetooth phone calls will have a very choppy sound, it's only resolved by restarting the car. Another issue I had only twice, is where the entire infotainment system just goes silent and will only go back to normal after restart

I just gave up my Chrysler Pacifica.  Three years ago there was a great lease price, but my car dealer then and my mechanic now both told me to get rid of it and move on.

My Pacifica lease is ending in a few months. I mentioned to my mechanic that we were considering buying off the lease (given the current high lease prices) and he strongly suggested that we don’t lol. Have a hard time walking away and paying crazy prices…

Can you extend it? When does the lease end? A lot can change in the next few months.

You can also buy a used Odyssey or Sienna instead.

New pacifica hybrids are eligble for the tax credit and are also readily available. Might be an option if you really need. Although I agree - pacificas are not known to last

Lease ends 6/1, so yes I’m hoping the market will drop by then.

I believe extension is a possibility but then I believe I would lose the excess wear and tear that I bought. Will have to weigh all of these issue in a few months…
