These vans run perfectly 10 years later, I guess I never understood the leasing obsession.
Indeed.Either way our 5 year old Ody is still wonderful.
Why do I feel that the hemishe dealers (Brooklyn-Lakewood) are pushing the Toyota Sienna over Honda Odyssey for buying?Overall it looks like the Honda Odyssey has better reviews.
According to dealer that I spoke to,Excluding this month the Sienna has been consistently cheaper the the Odyssey. The Honda leasing program has become less attractive. ( There are cheaper companies FE: Kia etc but they don't result in cheaper leases ) the abuse of the heimishe crowd had a lot to do with it.As a btw he claimed that the Sienna keeps its values better citing multiple used minivans as an example.
I don't pretend to know how leasing works, but in general when many people are recommending something that doesn't conform with how the product is rated you should follow the money.
1) MWAHAHAHA!!!2) No one is gonna blame their dealer if the car is a bad drive or such. They'll hate the car company instead.
Abuse? Of what?
1500 waiver etc.
Honda did away with their own waivers a few years back...
Agreed.CR agrees as well.
What were your FILs numbers?
I assume they were talking about the 2017 and prior model and not the just announced 2018 model?Im hoping oto follow my FIL method - he's leasing for 3 years and then buying out. the total cost of lease, plus DP+ buyout is less than upfront buying. Hope to get that for a 2018 odyssey SCE (Sam's Club Edition)
he actually got a sonata. i don't recall. I can ask him. I know he got the lowest mileage option
If you need financing, at buyout rates is usually much higher.
I assume if you buyout they dont care for the mileage.Do they calculate the buyout cost acording to the mileage you are allowed?
