Many Litvish yeshivas have tables and chairs.

1. POIDH
2. They must have some Chassidishe influence.
3. See my edit to the post above explaining the significance.

Those with tables and chairs also learn side by side?
Typically no (but there are no "rules")

I've never heard of a ruchniyus reason for tables vs shtenders in yeshiva. I always assumed whichever they chose had to do with practicality (and ergonomics)

So Exgingi is right, it all has to do with tables vs shtenders, not so much on sects. Although shtenders I believe is a litvish exclusive thing.

If you learn chassidus you would realize that there's always an inner meaning to everything.

What about true Sefaradi Yeshivos (not Litvishe style Sefaradi)?

Rav Moshe Ztz"l held to specifically use tables and not shtenders, because you should bend yourself to the sefer and not visa-versa and both of his Yeshivos have tables (and a few table-top shtenders)
Small people talk about other people.
Average people talk about things
BIG PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IDEAS.

Yep. This is what was done by me. Non Lubavitch chasidish in Israel. I remember seeing this in most of not all of the other similar yeshivos I visited. I think side by side and not accross is a practical thing so you don't have chairs on both side of the tables.

exactly, I think this adds to the dynamic . Benches w shtenders you can only sit next to each other (or one stands and one sits). If it’s tables and chairs I think the majority will sit opposite each other (maybe w the exception of learning mussar seforim you might sit next to each other)
With shtenders and chairs I think you’ll find a big mix in the bm w some side by side, some facing each other but positioned side by side, or one standing one sitting
nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible

What about true Sefaradi Yeshivos (not Litvishe style Sefaradi)?

I've seen a bunch but usually not using shtenders. I've been in tables with chairs side by side (Israel) or across the able, or table with bench side by side. But to answer the question directly - there aren't really any "true" Sefaradi yeshivas in regards to this matter, Litvishe practice has definitely permeated all Sefaradi yeshivos to a certain extent.
Visibly Jewish

I believe the main reason it’s done is just for space saving, sitting side by side especially with benches fits in way way more people in a Heichel

Better to learn with a shtender so you focus on your learning , than to learn bent over the sefer and focus on your aching back?

With this logic it correlates directly with eating before davenen, according to the Tzemach's saying "ענדערש עסן כדי צי דאווענען ווי איידער דאווענען כדי צי עסן"

A little backwards ;) I was using the Tzemach Tzedek's saying to see if I could figure out @yesitsme's correlating the 2.

I don't know what proper Sefaradi yeshiva style is, Yemenite is presumably around a table with one Sefer, with each person getting their own angle.

Yemenites still do that?
