under 27 generally needs to make a boat license that is valid for a year. costs couple of dollars.

Do you know of a place that offers that? When I asked the "just go" place (the one with the groupon) if they rent to anyone under 27 they said no, but I could always HUCA and ask specifically about the temporary license if you think there is a likelyhood they will offer it.

Ate @ Kosh tonight. Superb dining experience from beginning to end! I got lucky it seems because my wife and I did not make a reservation prior but after double checking, they told us one table for 2 was available. We probably got there at about 7 so it was well into dinner time but the place filed up as we ate, and there was a line out the door when we left.

Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and the service was pretty speedy (until dessert time at least) and friendly.

Pulled beef sliders 8/10 (my wife and I shared, I forced myself to try something other then the Korean beef 😉) Reserve 12oz, yes 12oz is on the small side but it was an a+ center cut, excellent steak, I would rate it a 10. Delicious mushroom sauce and wine sauce on the side, paired with a glass of one of their house wines, a fruity Barkan Cabernet. I paid the $3 upgrade for the mash potatoes over the roasted. Don't think they should charge for that but the mashed potatoes are a 10 in my book.

My wife had a chicken Caesar salad which seemed like an 8-10 (I didn't have any really) and nibbled on my steak.

For dessert we had their version of ice cream and chocolate souffle (forgot what they called it) 7/10.

I know, Kosh gets such good reviews so this probably won't surprise anybody but we enjoyed it so much I had to share. I went over to the owner after and told how impressed I was with everything. He was pitching in working the crowd, and the entire staff was really keeping things moving.

It could be that others who came after me did not have it as good or maybe they did.  They are getting their hardest setting up more tables outside.

Anybody go biking in Miami? I'm thinking of doing key Biscayne one day and then the Everglades the following day. Any advice? Any other routes you'd recommend (40-70 miles). Tia

read up about it and if what u read interests you then go for it.
These types of things are not particularly exciting and therefore are not for everyone, but it's one of the top rated attractions in south fla prob for a reason

I def enjoyed my time there. But personally if it were me I'd spend the day by the water and catch a nice meal.

These types of things are not particularly exciting and therefore are not for everyone, but it's one of the top rated attractions in south fla prob for a reason

I personally don't care for these type of things usually. What I do want is a solid bike route/path. Once I'm doing that, I would like something more/different than my rides in NYC, Jersey, long island, the Poconos, and the Catskills. Otherwise, there is no reason to go to Florida.

Went to aquas last night. Not impressed and way overpriced. $18 for a Mac and cheese? I went with kids, that about all they would eat there. Presentation was nice and all... But a little bland. Ice cream which is made there had a decent taste, but it was freezer burnt. Got one main (Mac and cheese) one salad, three apps a coffe and ice cream, bill was $96, tip is included @ 18%.

Idk about you, but for pasta that's not for me.

We will stick to Levy's
