I disagree. This fiasco shows that they cannot be relied upon to honor their commitments fully, and that they, directly or indirectly, expect their customers to share in some of the risk, without additional upside. If the deal is that they will refund your cost and an additional $X by a certain date, and then they force you to take a different return, that doesn't inspire condifence in me. Of course, it's better than backing out, and I do give PFS credit for trying to make this work as much as possible. Maybe this is an innexpensive first-hand lesson about the inherent risks of buying groups, regardless of the reputation.

Huh? They committed to purchasing the tickets. Otherwise, none of us would have purchased the tickets as we don’t know enough about the market to assume the risk ourselves. Obviously.

With all that said, and I want to be clear that they should not be changing the rules and if the tables were turned they would not be sharing the upside, I am certainly glad that (as of now) they seem to be doing their best to make everyone whole at great cost to themselves.

(They shouldn’t be blaming customers for following their instructions though).

If that’s the case then they should offer more when a deal does better. Correct?

The whole point of them providing a purchase price and commitment to purchase from you is they assume the risk of the purchase in exchange for the prospect of the reward. If they are passing off the risk, they need to be passing off the reward equally.

Seems like TM adding new dates was partially responsible for the TS fiasco. Looks like they are getting savvy and releasing additional quantity slowly

Do they offer extra upside when the deal is 'unexpectedly' positive in their favor?

Actually there were a couple coin deals that turned out really good and I emailed PFS asking if they'd consider raising my payout. To their credit, with absolutely no obligation on their end, they did.

So yeah this was a bit of a disaster deal, but I know they're doing their best and I wouldn't bad mouth PFS for anything. Though they did just issue my check and it was $19.80 short LOL... but besides that
