This is a super-solid deal for both points and cash bookings.  Paris in premium econ comes to about $375 a ticket, round trip!  Or 400 points per pax + $165.

Knocks the socks off using QF points, in this case cashback is absolutely king...

I tried booking a few to DXB but it seems that it's one of the only destinations not eligible for the promo

No clue about chances of finding a deal in econ, but I can tell you that there seemed to be plenty of paid and award availability in Premium Economy to Paris for random dates I checked.  Even 4+ award seats on some dates.
