For the return you should be open to looking at other options such as United, Flying Blue, etc should LY release no space to QF.

Yes, just super annoying. Was so excited to finally have a direct flight from Chicago. Also when I tried to book the one way there they suddenly only had 1 ticket available, not 2.

Back to the drawing board. Good thing I didn't transfer hundreds of thousands of amex points specifically for this route. 🙄

thoughts on flying on EL AL's 777-200 in business (old angle-flat seats)? Worth it? Or rather fly a day later on dreamliner?
Horrible experience. Seats were just terrible. With metal footrest digging into feet when you try to sleep. They are open and exposed and the crew made sure to bump me all night. Wait the day.

That wasn't the question. I find it hard to believe that he did a QF change for LY online.

Had an option. I selected change because I wasn't canceling.

That wasn't the question. I find it hard to believe that he did a QF change for LY online.

Splitting a reservation and canceling is called changing a reservation and he did it with LY. I didn't cancel as noted above, I did make a change to the passengers I split off.

I did a QF change on LY a few months ago.
first report of this, you're probably remembering wrong.

And I'm the second report. You can definitely change LY reservation on QF site unless your change button is for some reason greyed out and their system won't allow you to.

You can split, you can cancel, but I and countless others have been unable to make an actual change.

I had such a problem before. You may have to click on "use points", if that doesn't work try multi city with just 1 destination.

Pretty simple. NYC isn't recognized. You need to do either JFK or EWR and the results show for both.

And they would show all nearby airports, unlike other programs where you would need to search every airport separately. LifeMiles for instance.

The multi city works. Is there a way to search a calendar to find elal?
