;D

I think this is where my help ends.  If he needs help, CB is the best resource for credit repair.

Obviously I appreciate your help with all this. And if you choose not to help anymore - I fully understand that is your choice and you have already done plenty. But please don't let someone like the other guy stop you from helping out. In my experience in this forum it has been the pleasure of all of us involved to help each other out as much as possible if we can. Especially in something as serious as this. Again you helped me out already and I appreciate it, but for the benefit of the entire forum I just want to make sure that you continue to help and don't let people get you down.

As a frum person who helped in my career once told me - do whatever you can to help the next guy down the line as that is strength of our network.

I know the other person from CB and I based my comment on my earlier posts, not what he posted.

As I said, this forum is not the best place to look for information on credit repair or credit scoring.  That's just not the focus here.  The reason I directed you to CB is because they specialize in what you need.  Would you go to a dentist for open heart surgery?  They are both doctors.

I understand that and have posted on CB and Myfico. However I do like to get an idea of what people from our community are saying, as they may know a reliable resource that is not publicly available. Again thanks for all your help so far!

Can you let me know where you found terri's email address from? Thanks!

MF is certainly NOT a reliable source for credit repair, or even FICO scoring discussion.  Their relationship to FICO prohibits a lot of valuable discussions.

You may not believe me, but there are NO reputable credit repair companies.

Reed, if you really desire, you can try to use a service like Lexington Law.

As has been told to you over and over (and over and over), these companies cannot do anything you cannot do yourself, and often when they are unsuccessful you have consequences like fraud alerts or they make the negative information stick to your repots like glue.

Go to CB, actually start a thread (meaning don't use their horrible search function), and see if people that have been successful chime in.  Also search there for sample goodwill letters.

I wouldn't use the "couldn't log in" because that is absolutely no excuse for being 38 days late.  You'd be better off saying they didn't send you the bill that month.

You know better than that not to recommended LL.  ;)

Reed, shoot out an email first and see what happens.

You're getting way ahead of yourself

Called them a bunch of times they said there is no email address. Can you let me know what number you called and what you asked for? Thanks!

Could you post a link?

I don't see anything posted in the credit forum over there on this topic.

Just from casual browsing, this seems to be very true. MF seems like the noob oriented MS blogs, that feed the masses weak ideas and garbage, and have them think that they're getting the best stuff out there, because they want attention but don't want real info going out.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

It doesn't seem true, it is true.  MyFico deletes posts/threads that give people proven credit repair advice.

Why does the fact that it is true mean that it can't seem to be true?   I don't have anywhere in the league of experience that you, Mendelssohn, or cappy have, so i can't say anything authoritatively, so i can only write what seems to me.

my amex fico updates today, does it make sense that from 2 inquiries=2 new accounts since the last time it updated it should drop 22 points? If yes how long should it take till it will be as before?
Do u have any different idea for a signature?

Depends how much history you have otherwise.
