Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

anyone have any ideas, i need a flight jan 4th from mia to nyc, nothing available and tickets are sky high. was thinking about taking a stop to get any sort of fight, possible mia atl nyc, needa find anything.
BA availability shows up a lot closer to the date.  3-5 weeks before the flight is when I usually find.  And, strangely, I can find something just a few hours after I found nothing on that date!

Hey everyone,

I have an intra-Asia flight planned in Business on CX using BA Avios. When I first booked it, it was on a 777 with a 3 class cabin, so it had lie flat seats. There was a plane change (to a different 777) and now the flight has a 2 class cabin (domestic business class) with reclining seats.

There's another CX flight leaving from a nearby airport (not the same as the original ticket) at roughly the same time with the lie flat business class option (747) and I'd like to switch to that flight.

I'll be traveling with a pregnant wife I"YH who will appreciate the extra room.

I tried calling the US and Singapore offices with no luck and can't see another HUCA going any better.

What would be the downside to cancelling the ticket and disputing the Taxes/Fees with AMEX? There was a change in seating even thought the plane model didn't change. Can you think of any other ideas to get this done?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have the confirmation code?  Look up the reservation and check that there's a ticket #.  If yes, you're ok.  If not, call.

HUCA to the rescue.

Call #1:I called and gave them all my information, but over the phone they could only tell me the ticket #, not the confirmation number. That needs to be emailed...

Call #2: Hello, i have my ticket # but misplaced my confirmation #. Can you give it to me? Sure...

Why do you need to call? Just get the confirmation number from the confirmation page and get your ticket number and partner confirmation number from Check my trip.

That's what I did the 3rd time, neither do they appear under my bookings.

I don't see where to find the ticket #.  Although I used the AA record locator to check the reservation in the AA system. Where can I look for the ticket #?

Just get to the airport early enough to check in.
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.
