and... she's positive.Same is to me, I can assume.
Add very mild throat pain (like early in the onset of strep) and muscle aches that both come and go. Dry cough has come and gone for over a month. No loss of taste/smell, no fever.Mild symptoms or placebo/stress related? Don’t really see the point in getting tested at this point, unless they have an antibody test.
I had very bad symptoms for the past two weeks. Went with DE to get tested and interestingly enough she was negative, while I was positive. BH symptom free for nearly 72 hours already.
Had contact with someone who later tested positive.Symptoms, terrible cough, fever, no smell/ taste (though I've had that before with a bad cold). Tested negative. Am I from the 20% false negative category?
wow, finally.you really had it bad.
It's a lot higher than 20% false negatives.
That explains why DW was tested negative while I am positive
Cough is back with a vengeance and I woke up with a stiff neck. Other than “stay home” any advice on what I should do (semi-)prophylactically? Vitamin C and hydration, what else?
Some people are always negative
I gave a blood sample today to test for antibodies. I guess I'll hear in a couple of days if I have antibodies and they want me to donate plasma.
Strangely, they seem to have different criteria for different testing/collection locations. At least one of them says you have to have tested positive at least 21 days ago.
If you had the virus does that automatically mean you will have the antibodies?
