It's not in their interest to do that. We buy too many eggs during that season that they wouldn't risk losing all that business. On your average week, someone's going to see a higher price, sigh, and buy it anyway, because it's not worth their time to make another stop for a dozen eggs. When they're buying 75 dozen, that's a different cheshbon.

And lost money on every package (loss leader)
