When there is heavy infestation their guideline is different? Do they stay on top of the info and update accordingly? No.
Worthless.
As @moko mentioned, recently Blueberries are Peru sourced and are clean (we do try to shop for high quality).
R Shalom Tendler says no and it's hit or miss with every location seasonally.
he has significantly more experience than I do
I took that to mean that one can't say a general rule about a location, but it is reasonable to say that CURRENTLY a specific location/source seems to be mostly infestation free. Did I misunderstand?
don't know...I'm still washing and checking
He is a shochet but doesn't shecht as he can't face his animals being killed
Isn't that a krum hashkafa? I remember hearing a shiur about being a vegetarian and he mentioned is that if someone wants to be a vegetarian because he can't stand the "cruelty" to animals, it's a surprise.
And I was under the impression that they were so infested that one should not eat them at all! I'm glad to hear that one can soak and check the current ones from Peru.
Doesn’t sound like it was on principle. Just a human reaction to caring for them.
There is no yogurt that's appropriate for children in the CY market. Everything is loaded with sugar
We tried the milk. 7 year old didn't like it because it doesn't mix well with her strawberry powder lolI do want to try the yogurt though. There is no yogurt that's appropriate for children in the CY market. Everything is loaded with sugar
Every brand sells plain yogurt
We currently use Norman's plain but it's extremely tart. We usually mix it with applesauce
Every applesauce is loaded with sugar too though...
