I remember those Ungar doughnuts back when I was in CKT they had a special room for Ungars delivery. Those were some fire doughnuts.
My take on it, based on lack of information, and the wording of the ok statement, he didn't serve non kosher but there is a chance he planned on it in the future
Never heard that.
This didn't age well
The chicken didn't age well.
I'm in no means a Cancel Culture kinda guy I'm on Ben Shapiros side, but not when there's evidence messing with my kashrus.
This isn’t consistent with what GKR claims OK told him. If they’re telling people to Kasher utensils up to six months back…@Dan after seeing the OK statement are you still confident they were only serving Kosher chicken?

I've never been to this place and for all I know, they were serving chazer. Time will tell.
Terrible news, but hardly unexpected based on what the Elan quote of the OK.
Fair enough, but if we're assuming places are treif based on low prices, that creates problems for many places.
Huh?
On the other hand, we don't know the 100% truth and these matters are very serious. In fact the OK did tell me that because of lack of trust (when questioning the owner) they wouldn't feel comfortable continuing with their supervision of the store.
Not sure why everyone is overreacting to the closure. According to this, even the OK does not trust the owner, and he isn't Jewish. Also the fact they don't trust him even with a mashgiach temidi sounds like the mashgiach isn't enough to override the lack of trust, and there may be other issues.
I guess I missed my chance to try OK-Kosher Mooshoo pork…
I was gonna say if only how cheap this place was I'd probably have 3 lifetime subscriptions by now. I missed my chance.
It was obvious they knew their controls were no good.
